The Weekday School at PTCUMC was established to provide opportunities to meet the developmental and educational needs of children ages 6 weeks to 5 years old with a Christian orientation. Our goal is to provide a nurturing environment in which children can develop a sense of awareness of the world around them at their own pace; spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally and socially within an atmosphere of Christian love. We uphold the philosophy that a child learns through play. All of our classrooms are staffed with at least 2 Christian teachers who receive yearly educational classroom training and are also certified in CPR and first aid.

All registration will be completed online. Please use the button to register new students. 

  • Please register each child separately.
  • The registration fee payment options:
    • Online with credit card (additional convenience fee)
    • Online with bank routing number (NO EXTRA FEE)
    • In Person - cash or check
    • If you choose to pay in person, registration fee must be received within 24 hours to reserve the space in the class.
  • Registration fees are non-refundable.
  • If your first choice does not appear as a drop-down option, then the class is full.
  • If a second choice will work for your family, please register to insure a space in a class. Then email cary.wilson@PTCUMC.org to ask to be put on the waiting list for the preferred class.
  • If you do not have a second choice, please register to be added to the waiting list.

    Babies and 1's

    Children in our babies, 1’s and 2’s program learn socialization skills through indoor and outdoor play, are creative during craft time, explore new ideas during circle time and learn about Jesus during Bible story time. Children can attend up to 3 days a week from 9am to 1pm.

    Preschool

    Our program for 3’s and 4’s offers various levels of art, hand on learning time, circle time, outdoor play, Bible time and music class. Children in our 3, 4 and 5 day classes also have Physical Education. Children must be potty trained to enter our 3’s classes. Classes are 9am-1pm.

    Kindergarten

    Our Kindergarten was created to teach children the academic skills needed to move to first grade. We emphasize reading, writing and math skills each day. Kindergarten students also experience Science, Social Studies, Bible teaching, Music and Physical Education.
