Frequently Asked Questions
Traditional Worship (9:30AM): If you are moved by music that is deeply rooted in history and by worship practices passed down from generations before us, then our traditional worship service is probably for you. Our traditional service is somewhat formal but still warm and welcoming. We love to laugh and we aren't afraid to clap!
Contemporary Worship (11AM): Jesus came to a particular group of people at a specific point in history. He came speaking their language. We aim to do the same in this time and place. Our contemporary worship service offers modern music and artforms as we seek to tell a timeless, ancient story.
Sunday Kids
We offer Sunday morning nursery and kids programming for babies (6-weeks) through Grade 5 during the 9:30 and 11am worship services. Check-in begins 20 minutes before each service time. Our nursery is staffed with trained childcare leaders who safely and lovingly care for our nursery-age children. Our preschool and elementary programming consists of Small and Large Group time. Small Group is where relationships happen, with consistent and caring small group leaders, age-appropriate friends, and fun, interactive activities designed to help kids embrace the message and engage in conversations that encourage them to live out what they learn on Sunday mornings. Large Group is where kids gather for a fun Host-led game and an interactive presentation of the Bible Story. All our Sunday morning leaders have an annual background check and are Safe Sanctuaries certified.
Family Events/Summer Camps
We host several events throughout the year that emphasize family, community, and service. From our family jams to our summer camps, these events give kids and families opportunities to experience the love of Jesus and provide ways to share it with their friends and neighbors.
Milestones Moments
We celebrate our Third Graders every fall in both services with a Bible presentation, blessing, prayer, and reception for them and their families. We also welcome and celebrate our rising Kindergarteners every fall to help their transition from preschool to elementary go smoothly, safely, and lovingly.
Student Ministry is made up of 6th-12th grade students and they meet at various times throughout the week. Here are some times and terms that might be helpful!
The Foundry: This is the name of our dedicated student space that is located on the 1st floor of the building (the room with a garage door).
Breakfast Club: Meets every Sunday (with the exception of Easter) at 9:30AM in the Foundry. This is a small group styled discussion over breakfast!
608: In the Fall and Spring, students meet on Sunday nights at 6:08PM for worship and small group time.
Student Groups: We host small groups for students that talk about life and discipleship. These groups are divided up by age and gender.
Leaders: This is what we call our adult volunteers who go above and beyond to connect with students relationally while leading them spiritually.
