Natasha Blum
Staff - Parish Relations

Natasha grew up in Fayette County and returned in 2006 with her husband Kenny and two daughters, Emily and Grace. The family joined the church in 2008 where the girls have been active in youth and the parents in Journey Sunday school and serving with Trinity House. Natasha is a Staff Development Coordinator with the State of Georgia.

David Bodne
Mission & Ministry

David is a radiologist with a special interest in women’s imaging, practicing for 26 years, 12 in Fayetteville.

He is married to the women he feels certain God intended him to have as partner, truest friend and confidant. David and Kim are blessed with four children, the youngest looking to attend college next year.

David became a follower of Christ in 2017 after years of wandering a spiritual desert, and then finding himself moved into action after finally hearing the small still voice of God while attending several services at PTCUMC. He has enjoyed becoming part of the congregation, learning what it means to be part of the body of Christ through the many services attended, small groups, and serving whenever and however possible.

Nathan Dorris
Mission & Ministry

Nathan has been a member of PTCUMC since his confirmation in 1987.  He is the principal consultant of Dorris and Associates, an engineering consulting company focusing on product safety.  After marrying his lovely wife, Lynn, their entire family has been active in the church.  Currently, their daughter, Kelbe, is teaching in New Zealand and their son, Joshua, is active in baseball, boy scouts and loves 608.

John Fields
Trustees / Finance

John and Lynda have been members of PTCUMC since 2014. John in addition to serving as a Trustee in 2018 is active with the Cancer Caregivers, small group Bible study , Mens Bible Study as well as volunteer for several years of UMM Pine Straw sales and fund raising Chicken Q. In addition, Lynda and John help with accounting for the attendance books. We have lived in PTC for 36 years. John is still employed.

Scott Kavanaugh
Trustees / Finance

Scott Kavanaugh and his wife Amy were both born and raised in Fayette County. After a brief time in Ohio (where two of their three kids were born), they returned to the Peachtree City area and joined PTCUMC in 2009. Scott, Amy, Caroline (8th grade), Jackson, (5th grade), and Collier (3rd grade) are active members of PTCUMC. Scott works in the commercial real estate industry.

Christian Lauter
Staff - Parish Relations

Christian graduated from Valdosta State University with a degree in Marketing. He currently works as Director of Retirement Plans with Northwestern Mutual in Atlanta. He enjoys spending time with his family, his Weimaraner, and is passionate about golf and saltwater fly fishing. What Christian loves most about PTCUMC is the ability for his young family to grow together through the word of God.

Fred Panhorst
Mission & Ministry

Although baptized Lutheran, Fred has been a life long Methodist, even before we were "United". Fred and his wife, Carolyn, joined Peachtree City United Methodist Church the first Sunday of January 2000. Fred has served as chair of both the Trustees and Staff/Parish Relations committees, and also as a Lay Delegate to Annual Conference. Fred facilitates the Thursday Morning Men’s Bible study and serves on the Production Team. Fred has retired twice, once from the Indiana State Police and then again from the US Army Criminal Investigation Laboratory. Fred and Carolyn are proud parents of two wonderful sons (who followed their father’s advice and married beautiful, intelligent Christian women), the grandparents of seven delightful grandchildren and are great grandparents for the first time.

Allen Phinney
Trustees / Finance

Allen is a corporate banker with Atlantic Capital Bank, and has been in the banking industry for 27 years. He was the church’s banker for several years while at BB&T, and loved being included in discussions about PTCUMC’s future. Allen and his wife, Becky, were thrilled when they began attending the church in 2016 since their daughter Alyson was already involved in 608. It was clear they were home, and are grateful to God for the opportunity to serve PTCUMC.

Amy Posey
Trustees / Finance

Amy Posey moved to Fayetteville from South Carolina in the Fall of 2013 and she and her family joined PTC UMC shortly there after.  Amy is married to Clay Posey and they are the proud parents of Emma and Tucker. Amy completed her studies in Nursing at Columbus State University and the University of South Carolina. Amy is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, Nurse Practitioner and has worked as a nurse for over 22 years. Amy enjoys reading and sewing, and a little known fact, she has been a extra in a couple of movies. She has been actively involved with the youth at PTCUMC and can be found most Sunday evenings welcoming the teens to 608.

Brian Rausch
Staff - Parish Relations

Brian moved to Peachtree City from Mississippi in the Fall of 2013 and he and his family joined PTC UMC shortly thereafter. Brian is married to Rosie and they are the proud parents of Eric and Katie. Brian entered the US Air Force after receiving his degree in Economics from Southern Methodist University. After 21 years flying transport aircraft, Brian retired and now flies customers for a local global air line. He enjoys growing his faith in, and the fellowship of, the In The Middle Sunday School class.

Sharon Tiller
Staff - Parish Relations

Sharon joined PTCUMC in 2009 soon after she moved to Georgia with her husband Chris and their two sons Will and Jeff.  She recently rejoined the work force after being at home full time for 20 years, and is now working part time at Edward Jones.  She and Chris are members of In The Middle Sunday School class, and you can find her family worshipping Sunday mornings at the 11am service.  In her free time Sharon loves to read, hang out with her family and watch sports, hike, and play tennis.

Brenda Vogler
Trustees / Finance

Retired CFO of HospitalMD LLC, a company working with physicians and nurse practitioners in rural hospitals. Vice President of ExOps, a community nonprofit advocating for people with development disabilities. Currently facilitate Bible studies at PTCUMC and previously worked with youth through Sunday school teaching and the high school and middle school youth programs. Enjoy travel, reading and playing bridge.

Danny Welch
Staff - Parish Relations, Chair

Danny has been married to his wife Kerry for ten years and they have two daughters;  Brileigh (9) and Everleigh (7). They moved to Peachtree City in 2012 and have been members of PTCUMC since 2013.
