1 John 1:9: “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.”
James 5:16: “Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.”
Acts 19:18: “Many of those who believed now came and openly confessed what they had done.”
Proverbs 28:13: “Whoever conceals their sins does not prosper, but the one who confesses and renounces them finds mercy.”
Psalms 32:5: “Then I acknowledged my sin to you and did not cover up my iniquity. I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord.” And you forgave the guilt of my sin.”

Confession is a way to live out faithfully our acceptance of that grace given to us on the cross.
- How does confession of our sins glorify God?
- Can we allow ourselves to confess our sins and know we are truly forgiven?
- Our God knows all about us, do we really believe that there is a sin too deep to confess to him?
- Why should we go through confession to God routinely?
