September has a special meaning for Americans ever since 2001. While we look forward to the beginning appearances of breaking heat as the month unfolds, there is one specific day in September that always makes us pause- September 11. This year is the 20th anniversary of that horrific day. Some of us lived through that day. Some of us experienced profound loss inside our families that day, some of us born more recently, have only heard about that day. It is a day that changed the world. Come with us as we honor Christ even in the midst of a world that is still too often formed by hate. May we remember Christ together in the midst of it all.
