I am so excited to become part of your church family. My wife, Sarah, and I have been married for over five years and have been together for thirteen. We have one child, Luna Mae, who is 18 months old, and a little pup named Olly who keeps us on our toes.
As a lifelong United Methodist, with a father who is a UMC pastor, I have always found the teachings of John Wesley to be deeply inspiring. The church has always been a place of comfort and growth for me – and where I first learned what it means to lead well. It is also where I discovered my passion for student ministry.
Over the past 10 years, I’ve had the privilege of serving in various ministry settings and leading students on mission trips across many places. It’s been a gift to watch students grow as disciples of Jesus – some of whom have gone on to become exceptional Christian leaders themselves.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Religion from Reinhardt University and am currently in my final year at Candler School of Theology at Emory University, pursuing a Master of Theological Studies. My academic goal is to continue on to a PhD in the future. My schedule this year allows me to be full time here at PTCUMC while finishing two classes each semester.
Student ministry is both my passion and calling! I truly love what I do and would not trade it for anything. I am committed to continual learning, believing it strengthens my ability to serve and lead well.
While ministry is a significant part of my life, I enjoy spending time with my family and being outdoors. If it can be done outside, chances are I’ve tried it! (Hiking, kayaking, fishing, etc.) Above all, I treasure being present with others and experiencing God’s creation alongside them.
I look forward to what lies ahead and to the opportunity to walk alongside this community in faith and ministry.
