Earl Jones, born March 14, 1938, in Pantego, North Carolina, passed away on June 28, 2025, in Newnan, Georgia, at the age of 87. A U.S. Air Force veteran and longtime Delta Air Lines pilot, Earl was a man of quiet strength, deep faith, and unwavering integrity. His life was marked by a steadfast dedication to service – both in the skies and at home. He found his greatest joy in his family, cherishing every moment as a husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Earl’s kindness, humility, and steady presence left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him, and his legacy continues to inspire all who were blessed to share in his journey.
The family will host a memorial service at 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at Peachtree City United Methodist Church, Peachtree City. The family will receive friends following the service.
