At the heart of our Adult Ministry are three simple but powerful principles: Connect, Grow, and Serve. These aren’t just ideas; they’re intentional practices that shape how we live out our faith every day. When we connect, we form meaningful relationships that strengthen our walk with Christ. When we grow, we open our hearts and minds to God’s Word, allowing it to transform us from the inside out. And when we serve, we put love into action. We share Christ’s compassion and the hope of the gospel with others. Embracing all three helps us become a church that reflects God’s heart in our community and beyond.
One of the best ways to live out these principles is through shared experiences of worship and fellowship. Bonfire & Worship Night on November 14th is the perfect opportunity to do just that. Psalm 19:1 reminds us, “The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.” There’s something powerful about gathering under the open sky, surrounded by His creation, as we lift our voices in praise. Whether your heart leans toward traditional hymns or contemporary songs, this night is for everyone! It’s a time for all generations to come together, worship, and celebrate the goodness of God.
Bring your friends, family, and neighbors, and don’t forget to bring your own chairs and blankets (these will not be provided). Dinner will be served from 6:30–7:00PM, followed by a time of worship beginning at 7:00PM. Dinner is FREE, but please register in advance so we can make sure there’s plenty for everyone!

As we come together in worship, we also have the opportunity to serve through compassion. Our Pathfinders group is leading a churchwide Diaper Drive to support Wellroot Family Services, and we’d love for everyone to join in. From November 9–23, bring donations of brand-new diapers (sizes 1–6), pull-ups (2T–6T), or baby wipes to the Coffee Bar area.

As we gather for worship and service, let us pause and remember that God calls us into community not just for ourselves, but to lift up one another in love. Whether through song around a bonfire, sharing a meal, or caring for families in need, each act of connection, growth, and service is an opportunity to reflect Christ’s heart.
Prayer:
Lord, thank You for the gift of community and the ways You call us to connect, grow, and serve. Help us to worship You with joy, share Your love with those around us, and live as a light in our world. May every gathering, big or small, remind us of Your goodness and strengthen our faith. Amen.
