With deep sadness, we share that our friend and sister in Christ, Desdie Reed, passed away earlier this morning, May 5, 2026.
Desdie was dearly loved by her family and by many within our Peachtree City United Methodist Church community. Earlier this year, she celebrated the remarkable milestone of her 100th birthday, surrounded by generations of family and her Adult Group Ministry friends – a beautiful reflection of a life well lived and deeply connected.
We hold her loved ones in our prayers and give thanks for the faith and fellowship she shared with our church family.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, May 7 at noon, with visitation beginning at 11:00 am at
Mowell Funeral Home.
