Easter Jam & Family

It is with great pleasure that I introduce you to Alexis and her family. Alexis is part of our Kids Team on Sunday mornings, and she and her family attend and participate in Kids events throughout the year. They have been involved with PTCUMC since August of 2022!

Normally, I would take this chance to tell you all the reasons why Easter Jam is such a meaningful and special event for our church and community. But once you read Alexis’ story, you will understand why I had no worries letting her “take the wheel,” as she so beautifully touches on all the reasons we have come to believe in and love events like these.

My family and I look forward to Easter Jam every spring.

What I love most about Easter Jam is seeing my daughter light up as she explores all the fantastic activities. Although she likes it all, the petting zoo is her absolute favorite. And naturally, meeting Peter Rabbit is a thrilling experience for any preschooler!

For my husband and me, the highlight of Easter Jam is the inspirational family worship service, which is always so engaging and joyful. This service caters to both adults and kids and the Kids team does an outstanding job finding special ways to connect the Easter message with everyone and every age attending.

Easter Jam is such a vibrant celebration that sparks joy and connection through meaningful conversations, inspiring guidance, and a variety of engaging activities that let kids’ imaginations shine! From bouncy houses to balloon animals, food trucks for the parents, and of course, egg hunts! I feel grateful to be part of Easter Jam and contribute in a way that makes a positive impact on families in our church and community.

We hope you and your family come and make new memories at Easter Jam this year. Not just for all the fun, but more important, for the message of love, light, and hope it brings. And we pray that when you leave that message follows you home, giving you opportunities for important conversations that last long after the eggs, the candy, and the bunny.

Happy Easter!
