Black & White: Disrupting Racism One Friendship at a Time

Pastor Mark will be facilitating a 6 week Lenten conversation through the book “Black and White: Defeating Racism One Friendship at a Time.” The book is coauthored by two people who are long term friends – one a black female and the other a white male. The book documents their shared conversations about race and racism within the safe environment of their deep friendship across many years. Given that one of the authors is an ordained pastor and the other is currently pursuing a Master of Divinity, the conversation often identifies the call of Scripture in contrast with the reality of our world. Often the first step in changing something is truly understanding it.
