Fall Fest isn’t just another fall festival; it’s a ministry event that gives our church the opportunity to live out what we are called to do… love God and love our neighbors. We may never know how the love and kindness shared by those who serve impacts everyone who attends, but after reading Steve and Maria’s story, I know you will agree with me that God is using this event to honor Him and touch lives.
I first connected with Steve and Maria at Fall Fest, and it’s been a joy getting to know them. I hope their story encourages you like it does me, to always look for ways we can love and serve God and others.
Hey everyone! I’m Steve Walsh, and this is my wife, Maria. We’ve got three awesome kids – Emma, Dylan, and Isabella – and we are so glad to be part of PTCUMC.
We first got involved in serving at Fall Fest back in 2023. We hosted a trunk that year, had an absolute blast, and pretty much knew right away we wanted to do it again. So, we did – and now it’s become a tradition our family looks forward to every year.
That one event really opened the door for us to get more involved in other parts of the church. Since then, we’ve been helping with the Coffee Bar, Communion, Scripture reading, the worship tech team, and working with Meg prepping for Easter Jam.
What we love about Fall Fest is how it brings in so many families from the community. It’s fun, it’s welcoming, and it’s such a great way to show people what PTCUMC is all about. It really captures the heart of “For Our Neighbors,” and we’re just grateful to be part of that.
We’re currently finalizing our theme for this year’s Fall Fest on October 23rd – so make sure you come check it out! It’s a great way to see how our church is reaching people and sharing the love of Jesus in a fun and meaningful way.
Thanks for letting us share a little bit about our story!

Fall Fest has over 100 roles that need filled to make it happen. We hope you’ll join us and don’t forget – we still need lots and lots of candy! Thank you!
