Do you ever feel like you are constantly on the go? I know that I do. Life gets so busy sometimes that it becomes hard to prioritize things. Our world tells us that being busy, constantly on the go, is the path to success. It has caused us to become an individualistic society. God never intended for His people to be alone. We were made to be in community with each other.
Jesus believed in the power of relationships. He had his group of people called his disciples. He did life with these men. They ate together, they fellowshipped with one another, they learned from one another and they served alongside each other. Jesus and his disciples were and still are a perfect example of how we are to be in community with one another.
Hebrews 10:24-25 says, “And let us consider how to provoke one another to love and good deeds, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day approaching.”
What if groups were the way to feed your soul? What if groups were the way to learn and grow together so that we have the ability to go out into our neighborhoods and spread the hope of the gospel to our neighbors? Groups can do that for you and so much more. Check out all the groups that PTCUMC has to offer at PTCUMC.ORG/GROUPS. Now is your chance! It’s time to put the focus back on our relationships with others and to build our Christian community. Have questions about Adult Groups? Let’s chat & we can find your community together.
