Let’s Take a Road Trip Through the Bible

ROUTE 66: Let’s Take a Road Trip Through the Bible

Summer is a great time for a road trip.

A change of scenery. New discoveries. A chance to slow down and enjoy the journey.

Beginning June 7, we’re inviting you to join us for a different kind of road trip – a journey through the Bible’s 66 books.

Over eight weeks, we’ll travel through the major sections of Scripture, from the Law and the Prophets to the Gospels, the Letters, and Revelation. Along the way, we’ll discover how these diverse books fit together to tell one remarkable story: God’s ongoing work to reveal himself and redeem the world.

Whether you’ve read the Bible for decades or aren’t quite sure where to begin, this series is designed to help you become more familiar with Scripture and more confident opening it for yourself.

We’ll have some fun along the way as we journey down Route 66! Be sure to wear your favorite Hawaiian shirt on Sunday, June 7, as we kick off the series with a summer road trip vibe. Throughout the summer, we’ll offer Wednesday evening Detours & Discoveries Bible studies for those who would like to explore each week’s topic in greater depth. Women are also invited to join Summer Sisters: Girls’ Trip, a three-week group featuring fellowship, meaningful conversation, and Bible study as we travel through Scripture together this summer.

One of the greatest gifts we can give ourselves is a better understanding of God’s Word. My hope is that by the end of the summer, you’ll not only know the Bible better, but you’ll be more excited to read it for yourself.

So grab your Bible, invite a friend, and join us for the journey.

I hope you’ll come along for the ride.

Grace and peace,

Rev. Sean Robinson
