Easter is the day we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus and the hope that comes through Him. It is the center of our faith and one of the most joyful mornings of the year for our church family.
It is also the Sunday when our campus fills with neighbors. Attendance on Easter more than triples compared to a typical Sunday, and many of the people who join us that morning do not attend church regularly. Some are visiting with family. For many others, Easter may be the one Sunday all year they attend church. That means the way we host them matters more than we might realize.
When people arrive on Easter morning, they are stepping into our church home. The way we welcome them, help them feel comfortable, and make space for them to experience the celebration of Jesus helps shape their entire experience. It may even influence whether this remains the one Sunday they attend all year—or the beginning of something more.
With an additional service and an outdoor coffee tent this year, we will need more people serving than we do on a typical Sunday. We need you. The gifts God has given you can help someone feel seen, welcomed, and at home.
If you are able to serve on Easter morning, we would love for you to be part of welcoming our neighbors as we celebrate the resurrection together.
