The Coopers have been connected to PTCUMC for several years and have worshiped with us regularly for the past three. Their daughter, Blakely, attended our Weekday School, participates in our kids ministry, and recently received her third grade Bible here at PTCUMC.
When we asked what drew them to join this church, Jamie shared about a health scare she experienced earlier this year. During that difficult season, members of this congregation reached out, prayed for her, and surrounded their family with care and support. Through that experience, they felt the love of Christ in a very real way and knew this was where God was calling them to plant roots and belong.
PTCUMC also holds a special place in Mark and Jamie’s story because they were married right here in March, with Pastor Chris officiating.
Today, we celebrate not only their decision to officially join our congregation, but the ways God has already woven their lives into the life of this church. Mark and Jamie, we are so grateful to have you as part of the PTCUMC family!
