I thirst. We you know something well you don't have to hear something fully recited to feel it, to experience it... Jesus was speaking short phrases from the Psalms that the Jewish people had grown up with since birth in order to put them in touch with those Psalms. Jesus was reminding his hearers that what they were seeing revealed was what God had promised generations before. No matter how deep the dark the light always triumphs.
