Meals were intimate times of sharing, to which Jesus invited the powerful and powerless, rich and poor, righteous and unrighteousness- everyone was invited to the table when Jesus was involved and he never once said “I want fewer people at the heavenly banquet.”

Jesus didn’t force people to join him, but when they did, their lives were changed. We’re going to follow Jesus in Luke’s gospel and sit at the King’s table as we learn more about the One who saves us.
