The Bible is full of interesting characters. Some of them are people we ought to imitate; some are offered to us as a cautionary tale, an example of what "not to do." But all of them are human beings, doing what humans do, finding themselves crossing paths with God and becoming unknowing players in God's eternal story. Whether they serve as an example or a lesson, they have something to say that's worth hearing.
