For as taboo a subject as sex is within the church, it has certainly occupied an outsized role in the ecclesial conversation over the last 20 years (at least). Unfortunately, we have in many ways followed our culture into a climate of misunderstanding, confusion and inconsistency. The project for us - again, the beginning of a conversation rather than the end- is to rediscover the proper container for thought about sexuality and begin to articulate a Christian ethic of sexuality.
