What Do You Treasure Most? (Part 4)

Generosity Sunday is Coming Next Week!

Thank you, Church, for traveling this year’s Generosity Journey together! On Sunday, October 27, the entire faith family will be invited to bring forward their 2020 “estimate of giving” cards in worship. Over the last several weeks, we have been placing those blank cards in your hands and explaining how they are to be used. The critical part of our Generosity Journey is the part you and your family are doing this week – intentionally deciding how you are going to respond.

My prayer is that you have been touched by the “Holy making Spirit” in unexpected ways during this sermon series. I hope many of you are asking yourself this question, “can I really trust God in this?” That question is the heart of the matter because trusting God is THE matter of the heart – your heart. God doesn’t want just a percentage of your heart. God wants all of your heart.

I hope the words God has shared through me in this year’s Generosity Journey have been meaningful and helpful to you. I did not talk about money for three weeks; rather, I talked deeply from my heart about our shared faith. I’m now truly excited to add the Burgess Family 2020 Estimate of Giving (EOG) card to yours in this place of grace called Peachtree City UMC. Join with us!

I am honored to walk with you as one of your pastors. I share the awesome privilege of reminding you just how much God loves you. For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life.

What do you treasure most?

I can’t wait for Sunday! You don’t want to miss this one!
We’re going to share a JOY filled day glorifying God!

P.S. … My wife and I are doing one of the Trunk or Treat spots for the Fall Festival. I hope you help us make it special for the little ones who will come. Sign up online!
