Wickus was born on June 4, 1932 in his beloved country, Southern Rhodesia (now known as Zimbabwe). Our Patriarch was a man of deep faith. We are profoundly blessed and grateful to our Pappa, Oupa, Oupappa for his love, generosity, guidance, leadership, civic duty wherever he lived, and so much more. His magnetic and visionary personality led us to North America, leaving us a legacy to continue to live our lives with gratitude, humility, courage, faith and hope wherever we may find ourselves.
There will be a memorial service to celebrate Wickus’ life on Wednesday, February 21, at 11:00 am at the Peachtree City United Methodist Church.
